Buckle broke when my dog pulled

The plastic buckle snapped when my 55 lb dog pulled on it. She took off running but thankfully I was able to get her back unharmed. Terrifying and I absolutely would not trust this brand with my dog’s safety.

Best connection to my dogs.

Third Crag leash my dogs have owned and the quality is good as usual. Comfortable padding built into the handle makes it comfortable and easy to grab since it doesn’t collapse. The lower handle makes it easy to control my dog in the event of sensory overload when seeing a strange dog. Glad I found Ruffwear leashes.

Not for petite people

I've gone on thousands of walks with my dog in the city using a rope leash and never had a problem. My third walk with my dog using this leash nearly ended in catastrophe. It is very slippery and it's also really wide, making it difficult to grasp firmly in smaller hands. May dog didn't lunge particularly hard but the leash flew out of my hands and my dog nearly got hit by a car. The loop is way too wide to put around your wrist even at the smallest setting for additional security but the length of the leash will be quite short for your dog if you use it as a hands-free model instead. I wish leash recommendations considered handler size and not just the dog's size!

Great all around leash

Good length and great for hands free options or when you need to anchor your pup while out and about. The new clasp feels very secure.

Great Leash

Sturdy leash, love the variety of ways to use it. The built in handle close to the clip really comes in handy and love having the hands free option of clipping it around my waist.

Love the color as well! My Finn looks so handsome when he has it on with his matching collar.

Good but could be better

The Crag reflective dog leash is well made and comfortable to use. The clip is easy to get on and off, and I really like the padded handle—it’s comfortable to hold during walks. The reflective material is a nice touch for visibility. My only complaint is the traffic handle. It’s harder to quickly grab because I have to separate it first, which takes extra effort compared to other leashes. Overall, a solid leash with one minor drawback.

Love, the reflective, dog leash, and collar that matches

Love the reflective dog leash and how late it is just needs to be a bit bigger when you put it around your hips for hands-free when you have a jacket on
